I am Dr. Joyce Parks, the Catalyst for Change, Leadership Strategist, CEO of JAP'Pauer. I work with emerging and seasoned leaders who want to develop the leader within to get to the next level by maximizing their full potential. JAP'Pauer is a leadership and personal development company headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. JAP'Pauer is an affiliate of Solutions 2 Leadership, LLC and is connected to one another. The company designs, develops, and provide services in online trainings, courses and educational programs. Additionally, the company is a resource for individuals who want to utilize their skills, knowledge, and talents in starting their own business. JAP'Pauer is changing the trajectory of men and women leading businesses. My belief is that everyone has leadership potential and learning, and development will help with those endeavors. Throughout my journey in life, I had to transition and develop each step of the way and found that if it can be, it will be up to me. It’s up to you to make sure that you are prepared for any opportunity that presents itself. I had a chance to work in various industries such as real estate, manufacturing, and the education industry. My experiences included supervising, leadership development, teaching and improving business processes. I found that education is my passion. I am a coach, mentor, lifelong learner, and facilitator of personal change. Leadership can be a very difficult and complex task. I know from experience that most leaders are not trained to be effective, and the main objective is the bottom line, making the company money. As a result, you learn as you go. Nevertheless, leaders who are not prepared can be set up for failure and blamed for not getting the job done. I decided that I wanted to start a business that help leaders be great leaders, starting with the leader within. You must be able to lead yourself before you can lead others.
